Dass der Mod of the Year Contest auf ModDB.com ein großes Event ist, merkt man spätestens dann, wenn man sieht, wie viele Mods aus dem Totgeglaubten wieder ins Rampenlicht zurück kommen. Zu den herausragendsten Mods zählt auch C&C Renovatio, die mit ihrer grafischen Qualität einen Großteil der Konkurenz in den Schatten stellt. Schon der erste Screenshot von ihrer Schneelandschaft lässt kaum erahnen, dass es sich um das Grafikgerüst von C&C3 handelt. Aber auch Render und Art-Works sehen erstklassig aus.
