Im Vietnam Krieg herrschte ein sehr ungleiches Kräfteverhältnis zwischen Vietnam und der USA. Dies wollen auch die Entwickler der Mod Vietnam Glory Obscured in ihrem Projekt mit übernehmen, um der Geschichte so nah wie möglich zu bleiben. Jedoch wird die Balance trotzdem im Vordergrund stehen – eine schwere Aufgabe. Wir sind gespannt, ob das Team es hinbekommen wird. 😉
Im diesem Sinne zeigen uns die Modder eine ihrer neuesten Einheiten, den Flugzeugträger. Er wird unter anderen F14 Kampfjets in die Luft schicken, die dann vorrangig auf Bodenziele losgehen. Ganz ohne Luftwaffe werden die Truppen der Vietnamesen jedoch nicht sein: auf einem vorsinnflutlichem Flugfeld dürfen sie Propellermaschinen starten. Zudem gibt es auf einem der Bilder einen kleinen Ausblick auf einer der „King of the Hill“-Maps, dem neuen Spielmodus der Mod. Abschließend zeigen die Entwickler noch einen Raketenkreuzer, der eine Werft bombardiert und Lichtstrahlen, sowie einige vietnamesische Gebäude, wie den Supply Tunnel.
